The Proyecto Ecologico Chiriboga (legally established by means of the Ministerial Accord #47) puts into your hands this small informative review, with the purpose of acquainting you with our project and its activities. Moreover, it is important that you get to know our small, but beautiful country, Ecuador, inlayed in South America. | |
|
For the project, it is important to work with volunteers from all over the world. On many occasions we have affirmed that developed and underdeveloped countries should not exist, but rather a universe shared by all under equal conditions: a world that men, women, children, and senior citizens can enjoy, where wars do not exist, and where nature and its freshness and greenness enter into deep communion with human beings. To you, our volunteer friends, and to all who are interested in social change and who watch over the world to see that it improves, we welcome you to our project, a place where peace is felt because nature invites meditation. But it is also a place where we awaken with the problems of the community, where poverty and other problems are seen and breathed. For this reason, we are trying to do something that will allow for the improvement of its situation and its life. |

We can't be saviors, but if we can offer support and work, and the invaluable support of national and international volunteers, little by little, we will achieve a small change. We hope to rely on the support of other organizations interested in social change and taking care of nature.

Proyecto Ecologico Chiriboga was born in January of 1997 and had its first group of volunteers from August 14, 1998 through September 14, 1998. Extraordinary young people demonstrated their interest in the work even though it was very hard, and they involved themselves in the problems of the project and the community. Now we invite all young people and organizations of the world to continue with this work and fulfill the fundamental objective |

A CHANGE AND A BETTER FUTURE FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST, AS WELL AS THE DEFENSE OF NATURE. |
